Cancellation and Refund Policies

National Experiences

It is important for us that you read and understand each of the points regarding how we operate in specific situations:

  • No refunds are given once the deposit has been made. In case of cancellation by the client 72 hours or more in advance, the amount may be used for another event.
  • If a client arrives under the influence of alcohol or any drug, the service will not be provided, and they will not receive refunds or rescheduling options.
  • We are not responsible for participants who fail to notify us after making a deposit.
  • No refunds will be given to “no-show” participants or participants who do not arrive on time at the departure point (maximum waiting time is 15 minutes).
  • In the event of government-mandated total closures due to an alert, existing reservations will be frozen until the tourism sector is authorized to operate again, and the client can select a new date. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Guaria Expeditions will cancel an event only due to force majeure situations:

  • Not reaching the minimum number of participants.
  • Weather conditions that pose imminent danger to participants; otherwise, events will proceed.

Any cancellation made by the Guaria Expeditions team will result in either rescheduling the activity or issuing a refund (this decision will be made at the discretion of Guaria Expeditions).


International Experiences

  • No refunds will be given under any circumstances; however, it is NEVER our intention for you to lose your money.
  • We work with hotel reservations, so cancellations are not accepted. Cancellations must be requested 45 days in advance, and for special dates (Easter Week, Christmas, mid-year vacations, national holidays, and other holidays), notice must be given 60 days in advance. Deposits are used as payment guarantees with our providers in the destination country.
  • You may transfer your reservation to another person if you cannot attend, as long as you notify us at least 45 days in advance, or 60 days for special dates. If a flight is involved, you must pay the airline’s name-change fee.
  • Rescheduling is possible as long as the minimum required days are met and there is availability of dates and spaces.
  • Full payment of the package is required 15 days before the trip, so that during the week of the event, the total cost of your tour package is covered.
  • For international trips requiring airline tickets, please note that tickets are purchased well in advance. If you cancel, you must cover any fees charged by the airline for name changes or similar modifications.
  • Due to immigration and foreign affairs regulations, the company is not responsible for any restriction or denial of entry.
  • No refunds will be given to “no show” participants or participants who do not arrive on time at the departure point.
  • If airline baggage size requirements are not met, any additional fees will be 100% the responsibility of the client.
  • Due to airport and airline regulations, passengers may not present themselves under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Guaria Expeditions is not responsible if a passenger is denied boarding for this reason.
